Marching 04:22
Marching, marching west to go home The poet reaches his bridge where he's alone Free as a leaf of paper in the wind Under his roof he recites to all his friends When you come home Gonna build your garden up, gonna build your garden up Till you come home Rays will hover over top, rays will hover over top Marching, marching east to find a home Passes a river and sits across a stone Memorizing all of his favourite lines He flips the pages and sighs from time to time When you come home Gonna build your garden up, gonna build your garden up Till you come home Rays will hover over top, rays will hover over top

Wanderer 04:51
Got a one way ticket to anywhere Gonna float on by to my next affair And I'll gaze down from the sky I'll gaze down on your life I'm the wanderer by day, you're the wanderer by night On this path that we have made, it's so hard to track the time And i'll try my best to be my best I'm on my way to anywhere with you Sing your tune proud, rightly off key Like there's no one, watching closely No more closed heard, no more lost soul Don't look back now, you won't be needing me I'm the wanderer by day, you're the wanderer by night On this path that we have made, it's so hard to track the time And i'll try my best to be my best I'm on my way to anywhere with you

Away 04:21
I was walkin towards you, evening light was strong Puttin my hand out, didn't want to run Movin in a direction, not sure what would come Stuck in my mind now, your shadow quickly spun Away, away Away, away Lights were flashing, people were dashing Flicking rhythms, flicking rhythms You were walkin away now, never said a word Not even a letter, you turned and turned and turned Away, away Away, away Walking away now, never made a sound

about

Gisun's latest EP, 'Partes', seamlessly stitches together sombre ballads with colourful splashes. Influenced by vision, truth, and honesty, Gisun incorporates thoughtful lyricism into her songwriting process. Partes navigates through neo-soul, jazz, and folky singer-songwriter sounds to remind us that we are all whole no matter how disparate our parts.

By exploring new instrumentations, detailing recent adventures, and shining her incisive songwriter gaze upon past events, Gisun transports her audience through space and time, lightly touching down on an assortment of moments and leaving listeners with the indelible feeling that they themselves have shared in the experience of Partes- out now on Verbrilli Recordings.
